Let’s give 3,000 homeless individuals a Christmas worth remembering…
Help us to raise £15,000 before Christmas day, to purchase gifts and Christmas dinner for all those we support.
Interested in hosting a CHTea?
Host an Afternoon Tea with five of your friends in aid of Church Homeless Trust.

Your generosity in action
In November 2021 we awarded 79 personal grants to help homeless people rebuild their lives.
Childhood abuse left Adam with untreated mental health issues. By the time he was a teenager he was already using substances to escape the painful memories and he became dependent on drugs and alcohol in adulthood. He’s been on and off the streets for decades now.
Now he’s ready to try and settle into a home of his own and rebuild his life. He wanted something to help distract him when his mental health is poor. Church Homeless Trust provided him with a TV, to occupy his time whilst he recovers.
Church Homeless Trust supports a breakfast club, providing breakfast for 10 homeless people each week.
“Residents really appreciate having the opportunity to cook for themselves, it makes a special day, something to look forward to and get involved in.”
Aiden’s disability made living independently and finding work very difficult. After a relationship breakdown, he became homeless. He was homeless for 3 months, being placed in COVID hotels at first. Now he’s moving into his own place, but has nothing to his name having lived in hostels for so long. Church Homeless Trust supported him by buying household items.
Rhiana fled abuse from her family and came to the UK in 2020. She stayed with her aunt, but when her aunt left the country she became homeless. As she is still in the process of claiming asylum, she had no way of accessing public funds. She ended up sleeping on the streets and in different shelters. Church Homeless Trust supported Rhiana, paying for basic needs like food, a hostel and an oyster card.
Rebuilding broken lives
We are a small charity that helps homeless people in England rebuild their lives away from the streets.
Our grants provide individual homeless people the financial support they need to make the next step in their lives.
And we fund projects that help build the skills and self-confidence that enable people to progress from the streets to a secure home of their own.
