Church Homeless Trust has deep roots within the Christian community. To this day, we rely on churches to spread our message and talk about the ongoing plight of homeless individuals. Many of our most loyal donors first heard about our work at church, whether than be from a friend, one of our posters, or even a special service. Without the church-going community, Church Homeless Trust could not support the thousands of individuals we do each year.
If your church would like Church Homeless Trust materials, including information on how to help homeless individuals, you can find them at our Resources page. If you would like a print copy sending to your church, or if you would like to organise a CHT service or a visit from ourselves, please contact us.
‘I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger, and you took me into your home.’
Matthew 25:35
World Homeless Week 9-16 October 2022
This year will be the fifth annual World Homeless Week; a week where we ask all of our supporters to remember the many thousands of individuals that do not have a home of their own. We will be sharing information on homelessness across social media, as well as some of the deeply moving stories we have heard over the last year. It’s a great time to commemorate all the fantastic work being done to support homeless individuals, and share what you can do to make a difference.
We provide a free World Homeless Week pack for churches and community groups. The pack includes:
- A customizable WHW order of service
- A World Homeless Week Poster
- A Church Homeless Trust poster
- An Introduction to Church Homeless Trust
- A ‘How to Help Homeless Callers’ porch poster
- A CHTea hosting guide for churches
- Suggested Activities and Fundraising Idea
- A Donation Form
