Did you take part in World Homeless Week?

October 19, 2018

Huge thanks to everyone who got involved in World Homeless Week this 7-14 October.

More than 100 churches and other communities took part, including the Salvation Army in both Essex and Kent, and the YMCA in Wimbledon.

Please send us your feedback about the sleep outs, fundraising, assemblies and other events you held for World Homeless Week.

One participant commented:

We used activities for schools and young people… The variety of ideas was excellent and allowed us to select and create an all age service which both challenged and moved the congregation – one member said they had not been to such a moving service in a long time.

As part of our mission is to support churches and communities to help homeless people, we are keen to know if there has been an increase in homelessness in your area, and how you have responded.

All of the information packs are still available to download here.

Give us your feedback here.
